Mary Musgrove was the translator that allowed James Oglethorpe and Tomochichi to become good friends. She was of Yamacraw and English decent. If she would have never been able to translate, the colony of Georgia may have never been formed. She is an important part in Georgia's history. She also accompanied Tomochichi when he went to England to speak to the king.
